Abstract:


This research was carried out to find: 1) the material’s suitability level of the integrative theme based learning material on sociocultural basis, 2) the presentation’s suitability level of the integrative theme based learning material on sociocultural basis, 3) the language’s suitability level the integrative theme based learning material on sociocultural basis. This research belongs to descriptive quantitative research which employed content analysis technique. The data collection method used was questionnaire. The focus of this research was the integrative theme based learning material on sociocultural basis with the themes of things, animals, and plants around us. The result of the research can be concluded as: 1) the validation result of the material’s suitability was 83,75% and 91,17% with the “very good” category; 2) the validation result of the presentation’s suitability was 87,5% and 95%, and with the “very good” category in the aspect of media, and 83,75% and 89,58%, for the aspect of graphics with the “very good” category; 3) the result of language’ suitability level was 83,75% and 90% with the “very good” category. Thus, it can be concluded that the result of integrative theme based learning material’s analysis viewed from three aspects (material, media, and language) belong to the very good category, so this learning material is suitable and can be used broadly
